Starbrite Diesel Water Absorber helps absorb free water from diesel fuel and allows it to be safely eliminated. This fuel treatment prevents costly repairs due to water damage and prevents corrosion of the fuel delivery system.
Why use Starbrite Diesel Water Absorber? Water in diesel fuel will settle to the bottom of the tank and form a distinct water layer. If left untreated, "diesel algae" will grow at the interface of the fuel and water. These organisms will then clog fuel filters and deteriorate fuel chemistry. Left untreated, water can also cause corrosion of fuel tank surfaces, the fuel delivery system, and injectors.
